These classic teddy bears have an approximate sitting height of 23cm and come with a heart shaped recording device. The heartbeat of baby can be recorded onto the device (10 seconds) either during a routine antenatal/ultrasound appointment when a doppler is used to listen to the baby’s heart, or can be recorded off another recording eg- ultrasound DVD, mobile phone recording.
The recorder is then placed into the back of the teddy bear into a special pocket to be kept as a keepsake. Every time the teddy is hugged or squeezed, the recorder will play back the heartbeat. They also make a very unique pregnancy announcement, a beautiful gift to send to family members that can’t be near during pregnancy, or given to an older sibling as a way for them to bond with their new little brother or sister before they are born to include them in the pregnancy.
Our keepsake bears have been made with safety as our priority. They do not have direct access to the stuffing inside the bear, and have been tested to comply with mandatory Australian/New Zealand standards for toys for children up to 36 months. These bears can not be embroidered on.
Batteries are included and can be changed without the risk of losing your recording.
